Hold Us Together

Every time I hear this song, I think of my sons Billy and Jami.

 

Having a baby brother when you’ve had your mother all to yourself for 6 & 1/2 years was an adjustment for Billy.

He welcomed Jami with open arms and he was a very good big brother.

Those smiles are very genuine. As you can see from this picture, Jami brought Billy a lot of joy.

I love how their hands are holding on to each other…

I don’t remember them fighting or arguing when they were little, but it’s entirely possible that they did.

Perhaps because Billy is no longer on this earth, I am subconsciously blocking it from my memory as I only want to remember the good.

I think it is a good idea to only hang onto the good things about others while we are still alive.

It could make the world a better place.
