Musical Tatoos

The only thing to add to my original post on July 18th is that I got this same tattoo on my right arm instead of my left and a little smaller.

My thought behind that is so that when we hold hands in Heaven, the musical hearts will touch. A heart within a heart. 🎶💗

Day 18 of bereaved parents awareness month.

When my Dad took over as Pastor of Denver Bible Church, Billy always came with my parents every week and played the guitar while I sang.

He was 16 and he did that for about 3 years.

I’m happy and grateful that he was willing and faithful.

He loved playing that guitar.

When he was 18 years old, my boy got his 1st of many tattoos.

He wanted to share his love of music for everyone to see.

It’s a love of music that we shared and that was and still is so very special.

Music touches the soul like nothing else, especially when it comes from the heart.

Some days are harder than others and I cry many tears for what was and what might have been.

My son had a heart that wanted to help others have an opportunity to learn and play music.

I know that his dream will someday become a reality with the help of family and friends and mostly Jesus.
